Privacy Policy

Arxens follows a local-processing-first approach. The current version has no user accounts, advertising or third-party behavioral analytics, and does not upload your sensor or recording data to the operator's servers.

1. Scope and operator

This Policy applies to the Arxens iOS app operated by Shenzhen Manying Culture Media Co., Ltd. and explains how the app handles visual, sensor, network and recording data on your device.

2. Data processed

Depending on the features you use, the app may process RGB images, depth, camera pose, human pose, object instances, spatial scan data, optional microphone audio, motion and pressure sensor data, device name, device identifier, IP address, network interfaces, app settings and recording metadata. The app does not use this data to identify people or recognize faces.

3. Purposes of processing

Data is used only for live preview and on-device inference, timestamp alignment, user-initiated recording and playback, spatial reconstruction, device discovery and user-initiated local raw sensor broadcasting. Necessary performance and error logs are processed on the device to diagnose runtime and recording issues.

4. System permissions

Camera access supports visual capture and spatial sensing. The microphone is used only when you select audio. Motion access supports optional IMU data. Local Network access supports receiver discovery and broadcasting. iOS controls these permissions, and you can revoke them in Settings at any time.

5. Local storage and retention

Recordings, thumbnails, reconstruction results, settings and runtime logs remain in the app container on your device and are not automatically synced to our cloud. They remain until you delete them, uninstall the app or the system removes them. Temporary caches are removed after completion, recovery or later maintenance.

6. Local network and intentional sharing

The app may automatically announce discovery metadata such as device name, device identifier, IP address, broadcast status and available data types; this metadata contains no sensor content. Selected raw sensor data is sent only after you start broadcasting. You control local receivers and system share recipients, and we cannot control their later use.

7. Third parties and network scope

The app uses Apple system frameworks and bundled local runtime components for capture, inference, encoding and storage. It does not integrate advertising, third-party analytics or third-party cloud AI services. Current broadcasting is limited to the local network. Use trusted networks and stop broadcasting when it is no longer needed.

8. Your controls

You can choose features and sources, start or stop recording and broadcasting, delete local recordings, revoke permissions in system Settings, or uninstall the app to remove its local container. Because the current version has no account or operator cloud storage, we generally do not hold personal data that can be remotely accessed or deleted.

9. Security, children, updates and contact

Protect your device and connect only to trusted networks. Minors should use capture, audio or broadcasting features only with guardian consent and supervision. We may update this Policy as features or laws change.
